These tiny townhouses, which were completely renovated in 2019, are located in the sought-after mill district “El Jonquet” above the Paseo Maritimo of Palma.
Each of the four tiny houses offers a living/dining area with an open kitchen including Siemens appliances, a bedroom with a small dressing area and a shower room on 34 – 36 square meters.
Features of these cozy houses are central air conditioning, underfloor heating, hydraulic tiles and burglar-proof front doors.
El Jonquet or Es Jonquet in Mallorcan is one of the oldest and most historic areas of Palma. The small, charming houses typical of this area were built by sailors and fishermen who once lived by the sea. This neighborhood is the origin of the neighboring neighborhood of Santa Catalina.
This area is of Cultural Interest (BIC) and protected by the Special Conservation Plan (PEP) as Mallorca’s Historical Heritage.
The district is known for its old mills, which used to be a fixed point for incoming ships in the port of Palma.
El Jonquet is located on top of a hill along Palma’s Paseo Maritimo, from where some points offer wonderful panoramic views of the port and other sights of the island’s capital, such as the Cathedral “La Seu”.
