In the dreamy village of Orient, one of the last untouched and pristine spots of Majorca amidst the breathtaking nature of the Tramontana Mountains, this manor house, named in the Mallorcan “Possessio”, is completely refurbished by a well-known property developer to shine in new splendor.
The reconstruction effort is focused on preserving the originality of the landscape, but the interior of this dreamlike property is transported into the 21st century and becomes a symbiosis of a Spanish colonial country house with a three-hundred-year-old outer shell and modern day modernism form. Using first-class building materials, this jewel after finishing will have a total of 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, four of which are en suite on its approx. 600 sqm living space. The current distribution can still be varied.
The spacious living room has direct access to the beautiful, partially covered outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of the nature of the mountainous area of Bunyola. Another salon/library with an open fireplace seduces to cozy evenings in front of the open fire with a delicious drink.
The partially open, fully equipped, modern kitchen offers every imaginable comfort and has a large dining area.
An interior patio between the library and entrance hall ensures perfect light conditions inside the house and provides a cool quiet zone on hot days. In the own SPA area you can escape the daily stress and let the day fade away.
A separate from the main house, through the utility room area with a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with open kitchen and a private terrace is ideal as a guest apartment or as an employee apartment.
We are happy to explain to you in a personal conversation all the details of this dreamlike and extraordinary project.

Orient is a charming place between the Sierra de Alfabia and the Puig de Alaró, in the heart of the Sierra de Tramontana, discreet and quiet, away from the main tourist routes of the island and named after exotic memories.
It is reached by a road that starts from Bunyola, the community to which it belongs. It may be a little rural paradise just half an hour from the center of Palma. The tranquility and the beauty of the traditional architecture, with its sandstone and limestone buildings, make it an ideal place to relax away from the stress of the capital.
This rest area consists of less than thirty houses spread out along the hill, where the whole thing develops, culminating in the 18th-century San Jordi church, which was built on a 13th-century medieval oratory.
The city is preserved in a rare state of authenticity, with few additions that distort the mountain character and rural beauty of the area. It can almost be said that it recalls one of those timeless places that the directors of realistic Italian cinema have so well captured in cassettes as Amarcord by Federico Fellini or Cinema Paradiso by Giuseppe Tornatore.
